Kitchen Bakeware Basics

   What do you need in kitchen bakeware ? Whether you are new to baking or an old pro, I would like to provide the best  sources for your baking needs. There are hundreds of online sites for and finding  just what you need can be quite a task. Here you will find what I have found to be the best after months of research for the most reliable sources, best prices and largest selection of your bakeware needs.

 First a little list of the most common kitchen bakeware you will need.

Cake Pans

• 2 – 8 inch round                                                          
• 2 – 9 inch round
• 2 – 8 inch square
• 2 – 9 inch square
• 1 – 13 x 9 rectangular pan
• 1 – 10 inch tube pan
• 1 – 12 cup Bundt pan
• 1 – 9 inch springform pan

Other kitchen bakeware needs

• Cookie sheets at least 2
• Cookie press
• Variety of cookie cutters
• Baking mats of silicone or parchment paper
• Cooling racks again at least 2
• Decorating tubes and a pastry bag

A few more pans

• Loaf pans 2 9 x 5 inch
• Jelly roll pan 15 and a half inch x 10 x 1
• Muffin pan 12 hole
• Pie pans 2 9 inch
• Pizza pan

The little stuff

• Pastry blender,brush and wheel
• Rolling pin
• Spatulas
• Mixing bowls
• Measuring cups and spoons
• Ladles and mixing spoons

   You won’t have to purchase everything at once, just use the very basic things until your skills and needs increase.
